A winding road . . . Colin does not have a typical realtor background, if there is such a thing, but it’s what makes him unique. His path is filled with a variety of life experiences and honest relationships. Integrity, hard work and an open mind to possibilities are his cornerstones. It is a simple but effective approach, and one that serves his clients well during their real estate adventures.

His professional story begins with a degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. That was soon followed by a yearlong stay teaching English in Japan and traveling throughout Southeast Asia. It inspired a love of teaching and a true appreciation of differences. Naturally, he then transitioned to a MEd from the University of Minnesota. Yes, he’s a true Gopher with a bit of “Sconnie” in him!

Colin spent much of his career as an elementary school teacher in Eagan. He found a profession grounded in service - to people, to families, to community. He thoroughly enjoyed the relationships formed and working with a variety of others, always taking a collaborative approach in forging the best path forward.

Colin also has history as a co-owner and chief cider-maker(COO) of Number 12 Cider, an urban winery and taproom dedicated to craft cider. Throughout this journey, he met many wonderful people, earned national acclaim for his ciders, and helped develop a community of cider lovers in Minnesota and beyond. The experience forged a problem solving mentality, business acumen and a perseverance mindset that serve him well to this day.

Colin has been a Saint Paul homeowner since 1994, also dabbling in investment properties throughout the years. He understands a renovation point of view and sees potential where others may not. He is truly excited to be a realtor and real estate consultant. He looks forward every day to working with clients on their successful real estate journeys. Rest assured, his integrity, hard work and commitment to community will always lead the way
